Organization

The Department is established within the macro-area of Science and Technology and the main scientific-disciplinary areas of the Department are area 04 (Earth Sciences) and area 05 (Biological Sciences).

The Department promotes and coordinates the scientific research and activities of its members and is responsible for the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD Programmes.
