Technical services and consultancy

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences lends its specialized expertise and provides consultancy and technical services to public bodies such as local authorities, natural conservation agencies, and environmental protection agencies, as well as to private entities, for example from industry and the agro-tech sector. We liaise with companies and institutions that collaborate with us in R&D activities, and that offer scientific and professional opportunities to our students, research postgraduates and young researchers. We provide specialized training to researchers and professionals from all over the world by organizing international summer schools and winter schools. We raise public awareness of our important scientific discoveries by means of press releases, outreach material, the organization of events, and crowdfunding activities.
